Luník Cinema, Červený Kostelec

The Luník Cinema was opened after the reconstruction in 1959. It is currently used for the films projections 4 times a week on average. The building is also used for puppet performances, rehearsals of Municipal Brass Music, rehearsal of Original Brass Orchestra of Kostelec, performances for schools, concerts, lectures and the like.

Cinema 70, Dobruška

The Community Centre - Cinema 70 is a newly renovated, multi-purpose facility of Dobruška, and so its organizational components – the Cultural Facilities of the Town Dobruška. Besides the great cinema hall and the theatre it is possible to use a small hall, which serves as an occasional gallery, exhibition and lecture hall. Their services also offers a newly opened cinema cafe (Kinokavárna).

Svět Cinema, Dvůr Králové nad Labem

The Svět Cinema is operated by the Hanka´s house, the Cultural Facilities of the Town Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The screening days are Tuesday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday. Films for schools of various types and art films are also shown. The cinema is also a place of exhibitions, lectures, concerts, and from 2011 also the site of a national contest of the amateur film JUNIORFILM-memorial of Jiří Beneš; the organizer of the contest is the House of Children and Youth Jednička of Dvůr Králové n. L. The cinema is equipped with new seats and Dolby Digital EX sound system. Visitors can sit in a nice cafe.

ARTCINEMA CENTRÁL, Hradec Králové

The ARTCINEMA CENTRÁL is a project of Pro-Centrál Association founded in 2003 as a “daughter association” of Pro-Aero Association, which operates Aero Cinema in Prague. More than eight years after conversion into the European art film cinema, it is the largest cinema club in Eastern Bohemia and also the regional premiere cinema and coordinator of the Association of Czech Film Clubs. In the spring of 2004, the cinema was included in the prestigious network of European cinema network EUROPA CINEMAS. The cinema is also a place for meetings, exhibitions, workshops, lectures and concerts. Visitors can also sit in a nice café.

Youth Centre, Hradec Králové

The Youth Centre, Průběžná 1752 is a multipurpose cultural facility which was established after minor building alterations of the Youth Cinema in Malšovice. The hall with 100 seats at tables and layout of 150 seats in a theatre arrangement is not only suitable place for holding small theatremusic programs, but also for regular meetings of associations, interest teams, dance groups and clubs and for the implementation of other cultural and social events. The excellent dance T-BASS Hradec Králové ensemble is also located there as well as other teams.

Summer open-air cinema, Hradec Králové

Summer open-air cinema Širák on the River Orlice waterfront in Hradec Králové is a beautiful natural compound in the centre of the town with a capacity of up to 700 seats with sanitary facilities and with the restaurant Širák that also serves other organizers for concerts and festivals. Since 2004, the film projections in June, July and August have been provided by the Cultural and Educational Association of Hradec Králové. Visitors can come to the summer open-air cinema in any weather, with a bicycle, stroller, dog, beer and ice cream with the possibility of renting umbrellas and warm blankets.

CineStar multiplex cinema, Hradec Králové

The CineStar multiplex cinema - 8 cinemas with a total capacity of 1561 spectators, which is located in the shopping centre Futurum. Multiplex is equipped with advanced technology for digital and 3D projections. It is only closed on December 24. The standard program offers a daily selection of 10 - 18 different films. Besides the film programme the multiplex also offers special projections (hen nights, children´s Sundays, regional premieres attended by filmmakers and actors, premieres of megahits, festival projections, etc.) The tickets are of lower price every Monday. Other benefits provided by membership in CineStar Club.

Cinema Na Špici, Hořice v Podkrkonoší

The Cinema Na Špici is an organizational component of the Koruna Culture Centre (http//koruna.horice.org), organization supported by the town of Hořice. The building of the cinema was built in 1970 as one of the few 70mm cinemas. There are 300 seats in the hall and a spacious lobby with refreshments and a space for exhibitions. Apart from the film screenings, which take place 3-4 times a week, the hall is also used for lectures and other cultural and social events.

The cinema in Hostinné shows films on 35mm copies, and its capacity consists of 285 seats. There are also held theatre performances and small concerts.

The Jirásek Theatre, which is a dominant feature of the square in Hronov, also serves as a cinema. Presently it shows films irregularly; mostly for schools.

Cinema Panorama, Chlumec nad Cidlinou

The Klicpera Theatre in Chlumec nad Cidlinou shows except theatre plays also films for both adults and children. It organizes concerts, exhibitions, lectures. The Klicpera Theatre is operated by the town of Chlumec nad Cidlinou. In 2006 the former cinema “Panorama” was completely reconstructed to become a multifunctional cultural facility.

Cinema Vlast, Janské Lázně

The Cinema Vlast Janské Lázně is set up and operated by the town of Janské Lázně. It is located within the complex of buildings of the Municipal Office Janské Lázně and the Headquarters of the Spa, which was built additionally to the historic Art Nouveau building of the Colonnade in the very city centre in 1983. The hall of the cinema is wheelchair accessible and serves for 263 visitors. Apart from the film screenings there are also held concerts, theatre shows and lectures; and in its foyer also exhibitions or sales events. Visitors can enjoy the stylish restaurant Café Biograf nearby.

Cinema Český ráj, Jičín

The cinema Český ráj in Jičín has already existed for 85 years. For years there have been organized drama, operetta and opera performances. Today it only serves the needs of the cinema. From March 1, 2005, the cinema has been operated by the Cultural Centre of the town of Jičín. At present, the cinema is preparing for digitalization, installation of 3D projection equipment and sound system upgrade to the latest film sound system.

Cinema, Kopidlno

The cinema in Kopidlno is one of the cultural facilities in the Jičín region. Its founder and also its operator is the town of Kopidlno. The cinema is a little bit older and it is situated within the Town Hall building. The cinema shows both classic and widescreen films. The film screenings are twice a month; its capacity serves for 200 visitors. Within the cinema there are also held meetings with celebrities, concerts, theatre performances, lectures. Schools from Kopidlno also use the cinema´s premises.

The cinema in Lázně Bělohrad has existed since 1932. After years that were rich in film screening in the small cinemas in the year 2000 came reduction in screenings and presently the cinema in Lázně Bělohrad shows films irregularly.The cinema still has its place in the city and its regular visitors.

Cinema Radnice, Mlázovice

The cinema in Mlázovice is one of the smallest cinemas in the Czech Republic that has visitors even nowadays. The operator of the cinema is township of Mlázovice. The programme of the cinema is focused mainly on the Czech films, featured films are carefully selected. The cinema has high-quality picture and sound. The parking lot in front of the cinema is for free and one can refresh after the screening in a nearby famous restaurant Radnice. The ticket prices are the lowest in the region.

The Jirásek Theatre in Nový Bydžov serves as multifunctional cultural facility – therefore apart from the theatre performances there are also held film screenings, concerts, exhibitions and the like. Since 2012 the theatre has been equipped by digital technology for 2D and 3D film projections.

Cinema, Rtyně v Podkrkonoší

The cinema in Rtyně v Podkrkonoší was built in 1960 on the basis of the former farmstead “Na Rychtě”, where among others Antonín Nývlt resided – mayor of Rtyně, leader of the peasant uprising in 1775. The cinema has one hall with a capacity of 149 seats. Since 2006, a new digital technology has been installed and it became the first ever digital cinema in the Czech Republic. The hall is also used for concerts, theatre performances, lectures, dance performances and other events.

The cinema in Špindlerův Mlýn has a long tradition. It´s been screening already for decades and in its long tradition the operation almost has not been stopped. At present, screenings are held in the cinema hall at the military convalescent home Bedřichov. The cinema is operated by the town of Špindlerův Mlýn that also operates the “Osvětová beseda”, which holds theatre performances and many others cultural events and conferences in the cinema hall.

Cinema Vesmír, Trutnov

The cinema Vesmír is located in the Revoluční Street no. 20 in Trutnov. It is one of the department of cultural facility – the Community Centre of Trutnov region for culture and leisure. The films are projected six days a week (Tuesday-Sunday), on Mondays – once in two weeks – are organized programs about travels. It is possible to rent the cinema hall – usually for morning school events, which are held by other organizations. Therefore it is also possible to rent the cinema hall for afternoons or evenings. The hall capacity is 380 seats; unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
