Route: Horní Maršov – yellow marked hiking trail, Pražačka, Modré kameny – green marked hiking trail, Velké Pardubické boudy (cabins), Černá hora (mountain) – yellow marked hiking trail, Černohorské rašeliniště (peat bog), Vlašské boudy (cabins), Velká Úpa /15 km/

Short description:
Černohorské Peat Bog, the largest forest peat bog in the Krkonoše Mts., is this hiking trail‘s final destination. It is located in the pass between Mt. Studniční and Mt. Černá in the area of the Černohorské Creek springs and covers approximately 60 ha. The maximum depth of the bog is 2.5 m and its overall volume is around 420,000 cubic meters. It was declared a state nature reserve as far back as 1952.

  • Horní Maršov and the nearby forest castle Aichelburg,
  • Modré kameny (Blue stones) - quartzite stone blocks on the slope of Světlá hora (Mountain Světlá),
  • Velké Pardubické boudy (cabins),
  • Zelený Důl valley,
  • Černohorské rašeliniště (Černohorské peat bog)

Difficulty: The trail is hilly and difficult.
