From Špindlerův Mlýn to Labský důl (Elbe mine)

      Krkonoše Mountains and Podkrkonoší Lowlands

This route leads directly to the bank of the river Elbe on the bottom of the glacial valley. The path is suitable for the elderly and people moving with sticks. It is passable for pushchairs and also for electric wheelchairs and in a good condition it is also suitable for mechanical carts.

The length of the route from the Bílý most is 9.5 km one way, the height difference is 200 m.

Starting point: Bílý most (bridge) in Špindlerův Mlýn

Route: It is recommended to park at the car park at P3 lift to Medvědín. From there the trail leads over the bridge and then along the right bank of the river Elbe to the seasonal information cabin Labský důl (Elbe mine). The trail called “Be fit” (blue pedestrian tourist mark) is all on the asphalt surface. The trail ends in Labský důl (Elbe mine) by Pudlavský vodopád (waterfall).

Points of interest: traces of glaciation of Krkonoše Mountains, moraines, cascades and waterfalls

Possible scenarions of the route: the starting point can be the central car park at the bus station (trail would thus be 1 km longer in one direction)
