Chlumec nad Cidlinou Outdoor swimming area

Before you enter the town on the Hradec Králové road, you’ll come across a brand new swimming area. It is one of the largest in the region. The swimming pool, sized 50 x 55 m, with a stingray-shaped island of 485 m2 in the middle, is divided in three parts. For swimmers, there are four fifty meter lanes, with starting blocks. There are also free swimming areas for beginners, and a shallow pool for non-swimmers and children. For those, there is also a twin slide, and a wadding pool. The island is also accessible by means of a foot bridge. The large grass area around the pool offers pleasant relaxation, either for tanning in the sun or lying in the shade. There is also a motor camp on the premises and holiday cabins.
