Natural attractions in the Kladsko Borderland

The tourist area with picturesque river valleys, rocks, ravines and labyrinths of rocky towns is named after its location at the border with presently Polish Kłodzko.

Technically this area is called the Sudeten in-between-land, which expresses the position between mountain ranges of "Sudeten Mountains" – the Orlické Mountains and the Krkonoše Mountains. The value of natural beauty is evidenced by the fact that a large part of Kladsko Borderland is formed by the protected area Broumovsko. On the Polish side there continues Gory Stołowe (Table Mountains) National Park, Polish tourists indeed call Broumovsko "the most beautiful parts of the Table Mountains." Sandstone rock towns are definitely the biggest attraction - Adršpašsko-teplické Rocks, Ostaš, Broumov Walls. For a better understanding there is a dense network of well marked hiking and cycling trails. In winter ski tracks are available.
