      Mountain climbing in Kladsko Borderland

      ADRŠPACH

Adršpach offers climbing possibilities on sandstone rocks not only in the rock town but also in the immediate surroundings. Those who like to climb in peace and away from the tourists should choose the surrounding rocks because there are a relatively large amount of tourists on the sightseeing tours and trips. If you decide to climb in the rock towns it is important to take into consideration that if you enter a payment area you must have a valid ticket or pass and a mountain climbing certificate. Since the Adršpach rocks obtained the status of a National nature reserve, several places are closed for mountain climbers all year round, and in other places climbing is allowed only in certain months of the year. In general, if the rocks are wet and it rained within the last 48 hours then climbing is not allowed! Mountain climbing season begins on the 1st of May each year and on the website www.skalyadrspach.cz, or www.lezec.cz you can find out which areas are accessible and from when. Important information and updates are published on the official website of the Czech Mountain Climbing Union (www.horosvaz.cz).
