Saint Wenceslas Celebrations and horses´ blessing associated with the celebrations of wine

A unique event in the town centre of town conservation area of Hradec Králové, right by the St. Spirit Cathedral. The horse parade, riding school exhibitions and period costumes. The highlight is the Hradec Králové bishop´s horses blessing. Czech Statehood Day is also celebrated by ringing the second biggest bell in Bohemia – Augustin at the White Tower.

On the same day „Hradecký koštýř“ takes place in the town centre. It is the celebration of wine in the splendid premises of the Town Music Hall. You may find not only wines from Bohemia and Moravia but also from other European countries, a rich cultural programme and refreshments on renovated nothern terraces of Šimkovy sady (park).
